360|Whisperings was born from watching the incredible talent at our conferences and wishing there was a way to help them share their knowledge and get a little something back as well. There’s so many incredible people doing incredible things, that we wanted to provide a place for them to share what they know.

360|Whisperings is the place to find content for your eBook reader.  We’ll have technical articles and other topics for sale.  These will be small bite size pieces of content vs the whole meal of a book.  We have Kindles and feel it’s the way of the future.  We hope you do too. The eReader market is really heating up and it’s clearly becoming a trend that isn’t going away!

Pricing and payment sharing information will be coming shortly.  We’re looking to be fair, as in really fair vs old school publishing fair.  It won’t be 50/50 split, but it’ll be close.  As for prices for the content, we’re looking to charge less since it’s not quite a book.  Depending on the content, we’re looking at pricing somewhere around $1 or $2 USD.  The key here is to be cheap enough to make it a “no brainer” buy, but still provide the content creators a reasonable amount of income.

What we offer:

• Copy and technical editing of each article. We’re techies and developers, and don’t want to sell content that isn’t correct or worth the purchase!
• Conversion. eBooks right now, come in many colors, sizes and formats. Most major brands use their own format, and of course there are a few Open formats in the mix. We take your original source material (MS Word, Apple Pages, etc) and convert to all the major platforms.
• Marketing. We have a good voice in the tech communities. We can post across several sites the latest editions, etc. We’ll make noise about content so the content creators can focus on making content.
• Sales. We handle the sales. Between posting to Amazon’s Kindle store, and selling through this website the other formats, we handle it all. Payment to content creators is quarterly.
